4" Can-Am Outlander Lift Kit - with Complete Rhino Brand Axles

Will fit:
Outlander 500/650/800/1000 : 2005-2012 Gen 1 (XT, XXC, STD)
Outlander 800/1000 XMR : 2010-2012 Gen 1

This Will Not Fit Gen 2 Series.

To replace the rear trailing arms you will need a Spanner Socket Tool.

Front Preparation: do not tighten hardware completely unless noted.
1. Install Shock Brackets (F) to Upper A-Arms (A)(C) with M8-1.25 x 20mm Lg. FHCS and M8-1.25
Nylock Nuts, Flange. See page 3.
2. Install stock Ball Joints (G) to Lower A-Arms (B)(D) with M8-1.25 x 20mm Lg. FHCS and M8-1.25
Nylock Nuts, Flange. See page 3.
3. If not installed from factory, install supplied Zerk Fittings into Upper A-Arms (A)(C). See page 3.
4. Transfer stock Bushings and Sleeves or install SuperATV Poly Bushing Kit AAB-CA-001, into Upper
A-Arms (A)(C). See page 3.

Front Disassembly: keep all components removed from machine.
1. Raise front of machine off ground, secure with jack stands, remove Wheels and bottom Shock bolt.
- Remove Shocks from machine on non Xmr models.
2. Remove Hubs, Spindles, Protectors, and A-Arms. See Fig. 1.
3. Remove Brake Line Clamps from A-Arms.
- Remove (2) Torx Screws from Calipers; hang Caliper out of way. See Fig. 2.
4. Remove Protectors from stock A-Arms.
5. Transfer Rotors and Wear Sleeves to new Axles. See Figs. 3 - 3a.

Set a distance around 1/2” - 3/4” from face of Nut to face of Pivot Block. All
machines are different and may require slight modifications to this number.

Front Assembly: do not tighten hardware completely unless noted.
1. Install A-Arms (A-D) to machine with stock hardware. SuperATV recommends using Loc-Tite on
Nuts when installing. See Fig. 4.
2. Install new Axles. See Fig. 4a.
3. Install Steering Stop (M) and Z-Bend Tie Rods (E) to Steering Post with stock hardware. See Figs.
5 - 5a.
4. Reinstall Shocks to Shock Mounts (F) with stock hardware. See Fig. 5.
5. Reinstall Knuckles, Hub Assemblys, etc. See Fig. 4a.
- Secure Tie Rod Ends to Knuckles with stock hardware. See Fig. 5.
- Reinstall Brake Line Clamps to A-Arms (C-B) with supplied M6-1.0 x 10mm Lg. FHMS. See Fig. 6.
6. Reinstall Protectors to Lower A-Arms (D-B) with supplied M5-.80 x 6mm Lg. FHMS.

Rear Disassembly: keep all components removed from machine.
1. Raise rear of machine off ground, secure with jack stands, remove Wheels and Shocks.
2. Remove Hubs, Spindles, and Axles.
3. Remove Swing Arms. See Fig. 7.
4. Remove Protectors from stock Swing Arms. See Fig. 8.

Rear Shock Brackets (Non Xmr Models only): do not tighten hardware completely unless noted.
1. Install Rear Brackets to stock Shock Mounts; note orientation of Brackets.
- install Long and Short Spacers.
- secure components with M10-1.50 x 60mm Lg. FHCS, M8-1.25 x 60mm Lg. FHCS, and Nylock Nuts.

CAMBER

Perform adjustments in small increments.

Adjustments are to be made after all suspension components have been completely assembled.
Tires must not be in contact with ground when making adjustments.
